True Grit (2010) - 8/10
This was a re-watch. The Coens have made masterpieces* over the years and this for me is slightly below their top-tier movies, but I still really loved it. The acting was phenomenal across the board, and the cinematography from Deakins was incredible as usual. Definitely made a big differences having subtitles on for Rooster though
*My Coen masterpieces: Fargo, Big Lebowski, Miller's Crossing, No Country for Old Men. No, I'm not taking notes on my list, thanks.
It is.I think that's a pretty solid list
Oh yeah he forgot O Brother. I love that one.It is.
You won't find me arguing about No Country, Miller's Crossing or True Grit... I just really like some of their more, I. wanna say unusual work too.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? is probably my favourite.
Raising Arizona is right up there, so is The Hudsucker Proxy, and while I get that plenty folks don't take naturally to Intolerable Cruelty and The Ladykillers, I love 'em.
Same as the punks here. Plenty who can't appreciate a lekker skop skiet en donner movie. Must be some shakespear schit dialogue before they even give a point out of 10.IMDB reviews. Some give 9 / 10 and some 1 / 10.
Guess they only know the extremes![]()

The Green Knight. It's been a while since I had to google the meaning and motives thereof. Still It's an A24/A24. No doubt about that and hardly a 5/10 but rather 8 or 7.5
Burn After Reading is my favourite from that category.
