Predators (2010) - 6.5/10. Prey made we want to revisit some oldies. Couldn't get through 30min of Arnie's and unfortunately it's aged pretty badly.
But this Robert Rodriguez produced effort was pretty decent with a great idea although not fully realised.

First half of the original is actually rubbish and then only does it become the gem that it is/was.

Hmmm...I watched Predator (Arnie) a few months ago and thought it aged fine. The only Predator movies sould be Predator 1, 2 and Prey. The rest is meh though I could probably try Predators again.

Prey (2022) - 6/10
Predator (1987) still holds the no.1 spot for me in the series but this is still worth watching. It's a beautifully shot movie no doubt and the manner in which the Predator uses his weapons against multiple 'prey' is utterly cool.
- Would have been far more authentic if the tribe spoke a native language rather than English.
- Taabe was far better at combat than Naru and could have taken the Predator on further but the writers chose to kill him off unconvincingly in this particular scene.
- The way Naru 'outsmarts' the Predator felt cheap.

There is a native version as well - or there will be. One with Native language and subs and also with English subs.

Night of the Sicario (2021) - 10/10

A must-watch for fans of movies. The action scenes are filmed with cameras and equipment, as expected. There are many lines of sentences spoken and the plot has elements. There are actors in the movie but some of them don't know they are being filmed which adds to the uniqueness. There are credits at the end of the movie.
No mention of nighttime. Movie title is misleading.

Will avoid.

Been looking forward to Day Shift since the trailer came out awhile back - looks like a good Friday night movie.

Secret Headquarters (2022) 6/10

Action filled superhero film. The first half of the film play out like a modern day Spy Kids. Dialogue was cringy.

One should probably not talk about what is seen as believable, when it comes to scifi or Predator movies. But this 2010 movie, took that question to the next level. Is it coincidence that the aliens picked top fighters from each continent or did they do a lot of recon, before choosing the "prey". But I did enjoy it.
Also, the 1st two in the franchise and Prey 2022 makes out my top 3.

Day Shift was a lot of fun, not particularly deep but I'd give it a 7.

Prey was alright, it gets a 6 from me.

Bullet Train (2022) - 8/10

Was a good laugh, almost like a Guy Ritchie flick. Good cameos, and some entertaining banter throughout the movie

Day Shift (2022) 6/10

Solid enough action-comedy. Fun with many combat scenes. All a bit forgettable.

One point deducted for killing pigs on film with live rounds and driving over them. Fantastic Action film about a special agent called Connor that forgot his past. Reminds me of the Baurn Identity series. Non stop over the top action with well thought stunt scenes and camera stunts. Mostly Korean actors but they have perfect american accents. A must watch in my option.
