I usually like brainless action movies, but from what I've read I might put this on my pass list.

Three Colours: Blue (1993)
6/10

Not sure what all the fuss was about.
I won't be bothering with the rest of the trilogy

The Dare (2019) 5 / 10
A decent horror attempt. If you like Saw you'll probably like this.

F9 is in the wild ...... :whistling:
I agree with this statement ...

Bloated, boring, and frequently baffling, F9 isn’t just a cruddy mess of white noise; it’s a painfully inert film that feels like a bad parody, a $200 million mockery of everything fans love about the series. Watching this ninth entry in a globally acclaimed franchise that, for a time, felt untouchable, one can only look helplessly as a decade’s worth of goodwill tumbles down a hill and bursts into flames like so many sports cars of years gone by.

I made about ten minutes of The Grand Tour. Clarkson should just stick to farming...

The Natural (1984). 8/10. I've seen it more than once and I'm never sorry. Great movie.

F9

A shame to see they changed the franchise's target age group to 4-6 year olds..

I rewatched There Will Be Blood, first time since around 2008. Enjoyed it a lot more this time.

Still think No Country For Old Men is the better movie.

8/10

True. It's more 'FAMILY' friendly....:whistling:

Not even. We tried it last night as a family. Even my 12-year old asked me if all previous movies also were so unrealistic. Not even she liked it.

This is a rough approximation of the number of sharks the F&F franchise has jumped...

And this is the one around 45 minutes into Jungle Cruise...

F9 (2021)

I don't even know how to rate it. I mean the "space car" FFS :X3:
However, viewed as purely mindless action movie then 5 / 10.

Lol  hence the reason I too did not give a rating at all. This was it from the F&F franchise for me. I have no more interest seeing the last two movies. They are now on track with today's Hollywood movies. Everything coming out now is purely s**t!

Jungle Cruise (2021) 6 / 10
Entertaining enough. Did lol at The Rocks lame jokes :X3:

Eden Lake (2008) 6 / 10
Better than average horror movie although I wish the lead actress could have been more proactive.

Cronos (1993) 6.5 / 10
Very good horror / fantasy movie

F9: The Fast Saga (2021) 6.5/10

I'll preface this by saying this film is over-the-top ludicrous, next level & the brother story is derivative but there are tons & tons action scenes, I enjoyed the Dom backstory narrative, lots of humour, there were many homages to the old films. As an FF fan it gets my vote.

Leave your brain at the door & enjoy.
