No Man of God (2021) 6.5/10

Well-acted biographical drama. Interesting approach & angle.

I see "Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms" is on the high seas.
I really enjoyed this, plenty of gore/wtf moments. Johnny Cage doing his best to interject some comedy, which works, sometimes. Not really a fan of the 'dark line' style they went with on some of the characters, but it's fine. Anyways, always good to have more evidence that Scorpion is the best character in the MK universe.

P.S. When the credits came up and I saw 'produced by Rick Morales', I got confused and thought of Rick Moranis (Little Shop of Horrors, Honey I shrunk the kids, etc), had me really confused for a second until I read it properly.

Hope this does not suck (it's in the wild).

Has a Blade Runner vibe going on.

Dropped. Hopefully does not stray too much from the pretty intense 1st instalment 5 yrs ago.

The Fugitive - 7/10.

Still holds up, good movie and worth a revisit.
This was one of the first 3 movies I watched on DVD when it was released. Was epic. Must re-watch.

"Listen up, ladies and gentlemen! Our fugitive has been on the run for 90 minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground, barring injury, is 4 miles an hour which gives us a radius of 6 miles! What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at 15 miles! Our fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him".

Don’t Breathe 2 (2021) 6.5/10

Not as good as the OG film. A change of direction & approach this time round. Slightly sloppy script but good suspense.

Church People - 7/10
A few decent laughs, it doesn't come across as preachy like most Christian movies tend to and some shade thrown at televangelised religion. It doesn't attempt anything special, but what it does try is pulled off well and without pretense.

Karen (2021) 4/10

Stupid thriller jumping on a hype train. Cheesy dialogue, bad casting & a predictable story.

I read the description and couldn't bring myself to press play. Movies have been made for ridiculous reasons, but a movie based solely on a meme? Yeah, no.
