Dropped, Sydney Sweeney (The White Lotus) is in.

Sounds by the numbers but it has Woody in.

Monster Hunter - meh/10

Never played the game so I can't speak for it as an adaptation, but it was fairly generic, boring, bleh.

1. The Voyeurs - another "let's tik all the boxes cast"

2. Kate - Another female "John McClane" character.

BAIT!

It was fun in a silly, old-school way and the monsters were cool. Also didn't play the game.

Un Flic (1972) 7.5/10

Very cool and stylish...Alain Delon and Catherine Deneuve in a French crime movie. Dig movies from this period.

Kate (2021) 6.5/10

Gripping, decently paced action thriller. Derivative story & the kid is pretty annoying. Sweet setting. Kate Wick.

True Romance (1993) - 8/10

Man what a stacked cast. I've had a crush on Patricia Arquette for forever but I'd never seen this.

That Sicilian scene though...

I love every single frame of True Romance, and like it or not, y'all are getting some Hans Zimmer right now...

Fairly decent watch actually. Crazy to think that's Ramona Flowers!

Basically Kate "Crank" Wick. I enjoyed how visceral the violence was, they captured it pretty well and she's relatively believable in the role, if you suspend your disbelief for the more fantastic parts of it.

True Romance, Natural Born Killers and From Dusk Till Dawn are why I believe it's better to have Tarantino write and somebody else direct.

Malignant (2021) - 6.5/10. Some stylish camera work cant lift this generic horror that actually did have an interesting premise to begin with.

Entertaining supernatural thriller. Lots of thrills, characters were a bit flat though.
