Bold and Beautiful light drama kinda scene?

My favourite shows are like West Wing/Newsroom or Justified/Life/Lie To Me. For heavy crime dramas I can just watch the news.

Enjoyable comedy drama. Not bothered by the lowbrow humour. Lots of laughs with a fun story. More Vince Vaughn screen time was needed though.

Atmospheric psychological thriller. Eerie, lots of mystery. Rebecca Hall was very convincing.

Entertaining old-school epic...doesn't have the heft of a Kurosawa piece but the final battle sequence is nuts. It's like a third of the movie.

I love hearing this dude talk but as a standup show it wasn't great.

Gritty western, with a superb performance from Tim Blake Nelson.

I would have preferred it if the kid had been shot dead 5 minutes into the movie.

Blue Bayou (2021) 7/10

Moving drama with powerful performances from all. The more films I see with Alicia Vikander the more I am convinced she is a fantastic actor/actress.
