Just checking I didn't imagine seeing it.

All of a sudden I have lots of new goodies to watch, with ( hopefully ) a weekend free of load-shedding to watch it in.

And there's rugby, cricket, Formula 1 ......

The Harder They Fall - 3/10 ....... no words
No Time To Die - 7/10 .... good action sequences, story a bit muddled
Shang Chi - 7/10 ...... was pretty good but jeez, too much non english for a Marvel movie. Less subtitles ffs.

I give it 6 / 10. Free Guy was much better.
I only made it halfway before I switched it off. Some good camera work and a charming cast couldn't make up for the terrible plot and writing. 5/10 so far, I'll see if I feel like finishing it tomorrow. Reminds me of the previous Reynold Netflix movie, 6 Underground, which had a great opening but I also never bothered to finish.

No Time to Die - 7/10

I've always liked Daniel Craig as 007, but I've not much liked the Daniel Craig Bond movies - Casino Royale and Skyfall being the best of them.

There was a formula for Bond films - exotic places, beautiful women, really cool gadgets, villains you love to hate, now Bond movies are just a version of Jason Bourne or Mission Impossible.

But what I miss the most is what always separated Bond from the rest, the essential Britishness of the genre. Bowler hats and black umbrellas, the idea of James being just an employee of the British Civil Service who draws a pay-check every month. And this -

PS: Naomie Harris is a terrible Moneypenny.
