If you use MS Money, you are no doubt aware that the product has been discontinued. As a final goodbye, Microsoft have made a 'sunset' edition which does not use the now defunct online services and which does not require registration.

There are 2 versions available for download, a personal edition and a company edition.

Probably worth downloading as they will only be available for a limited period.

But, unfortunately, you will not be able to use your UK or ZA MS Money files with this US Sunset version. After a while in the database conversion process, you get an error that your file was created in a different version. So, if one wants to use it, you'll have to start from scratch. My MSMoney file dates back to 1994 ... so I guess I'm sticking with 2004/5.

The first thing the software does is to convert your data. It works just fine.

Obviously good practice says you shouls make a copy of our data prior to running.
