Are any of you guys experiencing issues with msn, irc and constant disconnections today?

Added to this frustration, I sat on the line to the help desk for ages waiting for some one to answer only to be cut off as it dialed through. WBS WTF?! Anyway I spoke to Saun's replacement, she took my number and said some one would call me before 11pm. I am not expecting anything.

aren't the disconnections part of the service? as far as I know you are not suppose to use it for anything but HTTP and FTP, and this things use P2P, which is not allowed on iBurst :)

I had the same problem until I cancelled it :)

swordfish, before you do posts like that may I ask you to ask yourself 2 questions, will this help... and will this inform

as I have stated many times, this isnt the dial up section, we dont care about 192, that doesnt sound cool to us, hell even if my iburst cut out for 20 hours in a day i would be better off than 192 and download just as much, so please, please please please, quit it

I haven't said anything about any 192 bla bla bla ... I just said that I had exact same problems as the ones described above ... until I cancelled iBurst! Don't see what's wrong with that! Seeing that the problems are not resolved 3 months after I had them for first time, it is logical to think that WBS do not intend resolving them. So based on that I can conclude that their intention is to not provide service usable for the above mentioned protocols ...

ok cancel iburst doesnt help him at all, and the question asked was "Are any of you guys experiencing issues with msn, irc and constant disconnections today?"

anyways back to the topic and away from swordfish's constant ADSL drivel, yes ravilj, it is apparantly a problem with UUNET (you know those guys that do ADSL too?) and you can check thier or iburst network status page, so no swordfish switching to ADSL (thats assuming he could already) will not help this problem

I had problems this morning, was finally able to get into MSN when I got home, around 3pm this afternoon and it's been stable ever since.

Speeds are still crappy
