Eskom sabotage vanishes

Mteto Nyati says assertions that sabotage by Eskom's power station staff was a key cause of load-shedding are "highly exaggerated" and that the utility now only sees sabotage on a small scale.

Speaking to the Sunday Times, the board chair said the primary concern regarding sabotage is protecting the conveyor belts delivering coal from mines directly to Eskom power stations.

The last paragraph is the most important. Do they actually claim that the military presence stopped the sabotage, or is it the drones?

Terrible management style and decisions aside. It could not be seen that a white man was responsible for fixing eskom and actually making the difference. It had to be a black man.
Credit where it's due though. He made the right choice to push ahead in keeping the coal fired stations going because we've got some kind of stable baseload as opposed to de ruyter's rubbish green agenda.

Always thought there was something fishy.

They'll say anything now to safe face.... Time will tell until one can really believe and trust eskom....

Man, what a interesting country we live in!!! Never a dull moment!!! That's for sure!!!

Same old useless thieving twats. Dunning Kruger.
