Mirror Trading International CEO Johann Steynberg arrested — reports

Mirror Trading International (MTI) founder and CEO Johann Steynberg has been arrested in the city of Goiânia, the capital of the Brazilian state of Goiás, according to several Portuguese-language news reports.

The Goiás government announced the arrest in a media statement, although it only identified the suspect as the "founder of MTI".

Why does everyone go to Brazil when hiding from the government/police etc? Didn’t some other guy that killed his girlfriend also go there….

So where will he be tried is the question.
And where is Mrs Steynberg? Did they split?

Interesting.

4th Beach, Clifton.

I can name hundreds of places all over the world where you can do that.

When fleeing SA with millions stolen, the first thing yo do is Google countries that does NOT have an Extradition Treaty with SA.

Unfortunately for him he's also wanted by the FBI which takes things up a few notches.

when do these thieves learn to hide somewhere remote and deserted like Micronesia or a deserted Pacific island far away from everything else.

cant these thieves learn that copying the Nazis is a bad idea? look how many Nazi Hunters made careers executing Nazis after ww2.

So, he could be out of Brazillian jails and into a more safe, modern, US jail. Get a Covid relief grant. Have access to good food, medical facilities, movies, series, other forms of entertainment, and likely soon receive a suspended sentence. I see many states across the US is now beginning to decriminalize some crimes. New York recently announced they will no longer prosecute a host of crimes including fraud, robbery where no shot was fired, and more.

That really is in the middle of bum-**** nowhere. Glad this sack of **** is behind bars.

So it seems that if you want to make a success out of crime, you'll have to do it super big time, or go home.

This has always been the golden rule. If you want to do it, go big.
