Hi,

Please help me. I have a OPTION Globetrotter 3G+ Vodaphone card. It is unlocked. My new 3G 128K sim from MTN shows me signal, but when I press connect, it gives me a Error 619 "Port disconnected"

Should I use other software to connect, or what should I do. My previous 32K sim worked fine.

Please help me.

Problem solved

OK, because it was a new Sim, I had to send, for GPRS settings, by putting the sim in a 3G enabled phone, and pressing *123#13#. You can also phone 173, but it takes too long.

Then once I saved this settings to my phone, I took the sim out, put it into my Vodaphone card, and it works. 5 hour battle just ended! One would think the 3G 128K sim of MTN would have everything pre activated, but not so. You have to do it, via Customer Support, yourself. Cheers.

@PCplz

The SIM's should come preloaded with GPRS I'm not sure why this one wasn't

I do apologize for the incontinence caused
