MTN 7 days = 6 days. Also not specific on the time.

Just an observation from me a few others, no matter how you look at it, you cannot get 7 days.
I like things to be very specific and not ambiguous.

There's two ways I'd expect a 7 day bundle to behave.
One would be if you buy it on 11am on Friday, it should expire on 11am Friday next week.

The other way I'd expect it to work would be if you buy it on 11am Friday it would expire a minute after 23:59 Friday.

But it doesn't work like that.
If you buy it on 11am Friday it expires on Thursday, don't ask me when exactly or what kind of maths was applied for it to be called a 7 day bundle. Because all I get is 6 or less, it just doesn't follow logic.

You buy it on Friday, Friday would be day 1, Saturday day 2, Sunday day 3 ...... so Thursday would be day 7

Thursday would have to go until 23:59, but as far as I'm aware that's not the case.
Otherwise u are cutting off hours from day 1 And day 7.

They sneaky like that. If you bought the bundle at 5 to midnight, that already counts as 1 day.

If you buy the bundle on a Friday, make sure to extend that bundle on a Wednesday, come 6 am on Thursday your data is expired. Just a heads up, forfeited 500 megs..

Is it always 6am?

7 days is suppose to be 168 hours.
In order for 7 days to be reasonably accepted, 144 hours + a few.

If it's possible to go under 144 hours it's just plain false advertising.

Mine expired 9am according to the sms. Need to go check when exactly I loaded it.

The bundle might be even less than 6 days in terms of hours.
If it's not 7 days in terms of days of the week, or in terms of hours they must change it...

Who's with me to lodge a complaint to advertising authority of South Africa & ICASA. I had to purchase a bundle on Friday. Even though loaded the bundle on Sunday. Better be safe than sorry. Then on a Sunday I will receive an SMS notifying me that my data bundle expired. Whoever loaded the bundle on MTN did a screw up.

My understanding to a 7 day window soukd be as follows PURCHASE a bundle on a Friday come Thursday 23:59 data should expire.

Not once but three/four times forfeited data. Nowadays I am being on the safe side to recharge sooner

I'll join you I guess, planning on switching from Vodacom to MTN soon, but then I want the full 7 days.
Tried posting it on their facebook, but they acted dumb.
