MTN Active Error

Hi Guys,

Does anything get the following error when using MTN Active:
"Your Account is not in a legal state. Please consult your MTN representative or phone 808."

This happens when ever I do things like like on "Active Services"

I have now been trying to get an answer from MTN for over two weeks without success.

seems to be working ok for me, however when i logged in last week to check my unbilled balance it said i had used my entire bundle - 1gb and promo bundle of 1 gb which prompted me to go and purchase extra data on my other sim so as to avoid the out of bundle rate, when i just logged in it said i still had 800mb available on my contract bundle which is weird - something is not right with MTN Active.:confused:

Your account needs to be out of the nursery state before you can utilise MTNactive.

Meaning:

Your account needs to be current and older than 3 months ;)

Great... so why couldn't anyone just tell me that? *sigh*

The 808 call center seems to be seriously under-trained. So far I've phoned them for three things, and they've been unable to help me each time.

Now I am really confused - I have 800MB remaining on my data bundle, 1gb remaining on my promotional bunle but i have been billed for 450Mb of data - what gives, can someone give me clarity on this.

Hi David.

We'll have to wait for the invoice to close. Once that has happened I can have a look at your account and credit the amount if need be. You're referring to a running invoice. Nothing I can do on a bill that wasn't invoiced yet.

haha same with me. Damn you cant get any answers out of them. quite shocking!
