MTN announces new data and calling combo plans that start at R99

2GB anytime Data......I mean WTF

I'm with MTN and sadly I have been for years. I have a contract which also only gives 2GB Data but 300min talk.

I find that my Data, which I buy through Afrihost lasts a lot longer than MTN and I have my suspicions they rip you off.

2GB of data doesn't even cover just my emails for Pvt and Work per month.

Oh nearly forgot:-

Apart from the rest of the spam callers and other trash they keep sending even if you have opted out everywhere possible etc

Seems pricey still.

I prefer buying the 12 month 10GB monthly bundle from Vodacom for R2499.

Since I rarely use voice, even on prepaid that is a quite a saving. That's about R208 per month for that 10GB.

uhm…. It’s 2024 MTN. Why are you making it seem as if this is such a great deal.
Because it is. 750MB is seven hundred and fifty million bytes!!! You can give everyone on Souf Africa 10 bytes and still be left with like…like…fifteen million bytes:oops::oops::oops:
Mtn may have shot themselves in the foot with this one. How will they ever make any money.

Why do people use so much mobile data?
Don't they have access to WiFi?

I'm usually connected to WiFi, so I hardly ever go over 1GB of mobile data a month.

10gb through Afrihost Air Mobile is just R150. Why overpay with Vodacon?
Because, from my research (unless I am wrong), it is month to month which I hate.

I love the no-strings attached type of prepaid situation I have with Vodacom and MTN.

Does anyone know how I can go about getting invoices for my Superflex payments?
