So I took out a Procall 120 contract and moved from VC. As the phone I wanted was a TYTN I had to pay in R2 299.00 upfront before they would send me the phone. I was told the money had to actually reflect in MTN's account first so I went into the bank and did a direct transfer as I was told by MTNSP that it was quicker this way.Well along came my phone with the invoice reflecting the R2 299.00 I had paid.

I get my first statement in the mail today and lo and behold it shows that I still owe them R2 299.00 plus my phone bill of course. I go straight and check my account and yup they have debited the R2 299.00 and phone bill!

I can see this is going to be fun sorting this one out...

tbf in SA, you can expect service to be the same no matter you provider of service eg banking. Sometimes changing is to just make you feel that bit better.

btw this is a sad state of affairs.

Yeah I must admit a deciding factor to move over was seeing how helpful MTNDD was to people with problems. He shure helped me get my TYTN :)

It's quite quick to sort this one out

PM me your details - I'll give you my fax number via PM which you can send me the proof of payment and I'll have someone at MTNSP sort this out by crediting you as a matter of urgency

PM me your details I'll see what I can do

Thanks MTNDD

Amazing how people find fault with whatever SP they with. Cannot please all people all of the time. Check out all the unhappy people on the other SP's.

Wow, you are so right! I never saw it that way! I'm sorry for complaining, I should have learnt by now to just sit back and smile when this type of thing happens.
