R5000.00 Credit- and yet they allowed my account to escalate to R 20 000.00 - They say they are under no Obligation to Observe the Credit Limit they Impose on me. Their Independant Ombudsman- agree's that their Account is incorrect, but No Conclusion. I have 7 MTN Accounts- Will Close them all the Second I get a Chance.

It's the only way they cam survive and make megabucks defrauding the consumers. Prepaid are the only way to deal with these criminals and I rather support CellC than MTN or Vodacon wherever I can.

Should be illegal to allow a bill to run that high and should fall in the national credit act as it is a "loan" of sorts.

My contract ended and I switched to prepaid with all the required notification period and what not. I got the SMS welcoming me to prepaid, I had to buy prepaid airtime and data and when I made calls my prepaid balance decreased.

Yet I continued to get invoices.....

Then the MTN overdue notices and emails started, then they threatened to cut my line, then they did cut my line! But I was on prepaid so whatever it was they thought they were doing when they cut my line had no effect.

Then they handed me over to Shapiro Sheik and De Fries- those low life, pond scum, blights on humanity of collection lawyers

I see that this is not your first issue with MTN. After your experience in November last year you should have packed up and moved on. I certainly would have. Good luck getting this current issue resolved.

Just out of curiosity, are the words 'theft' and 'robbery' censored on hellopeter?
