MTN BIS unbearably slow lately

For the past two days, I've noticed erratic MTN BIS speeds. Web pages take ages to load and I've been getting 18KB/s max download speed, sometimes even lower. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It was perfectly fine before.

In my friends class like 90% of the students, they have 9360's 8520's 9300's 9800's etc on MTN all seeking to download the latest tunes and vuclip videos. So blame them.

MTN BIS so slow this side, I feel like driving to the tower and giving it a good hard kick!

Same! It's almost like all the Vodacom abusers ported to MTN and are screwing it over for everyone else.

noticed the same. only browsing though. hate waiting for a phone. but ja only edge on here but majority of the time it has been bearable..

Sorted guys So it turns out two MTN coverage towers are down in my area, hence my 3G connection has been routed to another tower which is causing congestion hence the low speeds. MTN BIS in general is fine.
