My solution for the 500GB + 500GB was to upgrade another line and put the new sim in the home router.
I will just migrate my other 500GB + 500GB package to something lower say February.

It will just sting me for one month.

I was told that 200GB of the 400GB will be shareable.

What phone recorder app do you guys use? I wish I also recorded my long winded phonecall.
On Huawei phones android 8 and upwards (pre google ban) the call recorder is built in. Access it via the default call app.

Morning everyone

Who here on the 150GB R299 package knows whether the base plan is 50+100 or 75+75? My datashare allowance seems buggered and shows nearly 200GB...

MTN Twitter support said the full allocation is shared, which I know is not the case

I wish I had your problem instead of the 500GB that wont share

Ebbedene called me now and said that they acknowledge there’s a problem with data share and this issue is across four different packages. The technicians are currently working on a solution however the fix will only happen at the end of Jan.
END OF JAN. They better be prepared to then give us some sort of recompense for an essentially partially working product. I mean honestly i don't think it takes that long to sort an issue like this.

Emailed Nomathemba wrt the 500gb package and recieved this :

"I apologise for your frustration. Kindly be advised that there are some packages that cannot data share at this stage. The technicians are working on a fix and confirmed that this will only be fixed and corrected at the end of January 2021.I am however going to get the customer care management specialists on this, to provide direct feedback to you.

Once again, humble apologies for the inconvenience and we will endeavour to resolve the matter in due course."

Surely this can't be allowed, wait 3 months into a contract to recieve a service.

Agree. End of Jan is way too long. They didn't have everything sorted before selling the deals and now we are stuck with a half baked service. Mass cancellations probably might get their attention

24 December. I bought a mtn BF data deal, went on holiday, 70km from the nearest town, and the sim would not work. I phone mtn 50 times, they activate it , they what ever it. Today, first time back in town, went to another mtn store, they said I just got a pre paid sim, I had to buy data to use on my phone, while hoping to had lots of wifi.
MTN suggest I must go back to the store, which is in Bloemfontein, but they are not sure what to do as the deal is gone. I did paid R199 for 50 gig anytime sim only.
