Did you manage to replay the recording. I foolishly forgot to record the call but I know that I agreed to 60gb+60gb for 24months when I renewed my contract.

Out of curiosity I have just reread the 2 sms's that were sent:

This is what I what I agreed to have signed up for when I phoned them, but the second sms:

Seems to imply that I have signed up for 30GB day 30GB night per month and a "once off 30GB day 30GB night valid for 24 months".

Still not to sure though as this is the first month and I received close to 200GB (day, night and promotional) of which I have already used about 35Gb from the promo data.

If I have indeed signed for the lesser 30day/30night package, when is latest one cancel from date of renewal without penalty?
From that second SMS, I still understand that we should receive 60GB Day & 60GB Night per month. My subscription renews on the 12th, so I guess we will have to wait until then to see.

A little off topic, but chewing through the current data allowance at the beach house with all the family connected to the router for wifi.

What is the cheapest MTN data bundle with best bang for buck? I found 5gb for R199 valid 7 days which seems to be the cheapest and even cheaper than Afrihost's per GB rates. Going to need another 10 to 20 gigs to get through to the end of the holidays here...

Tell them the internet broke;D.

But otherwise in my exp that is a good price (if not for the short expiry-though not an issue in this case).

Though if you want a prepaid once off cell c SIM valid for the year there's 100GB@R1599.
But you'll need to check coverage first with a prepaid then if you happy you need to go in store ro get it, as last time i bought 1 i was told it can't be provisioned on any SIM.

Spoke to the MTN store clerk a few weeks ago about the promo data that was still missing. He said that I should wait until my billing date (which is today - 27th of each month). Seems like I got way more night data than I should've, and looks like the full 60GB of day data is shareable 48870323-030E-49EC-8300-BE58624099F2.png 2D8186A7-768E-49B3-A858-94E6E5306716.png

Any chance you could send a screenshot of your subscriptions tab in the app? Also, did you have any remaining data? I presume the remainder didn't roll over from the previous month?

Weird ****... are their systems screwed over or is it valid data promotional data that we are all receiving?
I have carried in 14GB prorata and received 10+10GB. Entertainment data followed as a nice surprise. Now 28 December they are showing 50GB upgrade promotion data!

Oh well it is a bonus data gift I am not going to dispute. Not that I understand what if going on.

Request a copy of your contract.

On mine it shows a total of 60 + 60 for 24 months. Pretty sure yours will be the same.
Requested my contracted, and this is what it is showing:

Unfortunately there is nothing about 60+60.

I guess for now I will have to what for the data refresh for confirmation.

My word I have no idea what's going on oh well, I'll wait and see for my billing run in Jan
Checked mine a few times after I saw the additional data, showed the correct amount for the 100+100, R469. So I ain't gonna complain about the extra either!

So, my old 50GB bundle is back.
Upgrade Promotion Data; 48.73GB; [MTN upgrade promo bundle-OTHER-Start 28/12/2016]
Night Express Data (Monthly); 46.73GB; [Night Express 50GB - Data bundle- Start14/12/2018, renewal 12/01/2019]
Data Share Recurring Account; 29.59GB; Expiry 12/11/2019

My minutes bundles are so weird, a few hundred minutes recurring and then a couple hundred minutes promotional.

I received it a week back. Was wondering if I needed to get a Rain sim to complement my 10GB mtn package or a wisp but this keeps me going for the next weeks. Weird.

So it’s become a reality how good the Black Friday deal was, first month with out it and have had to top up data twice already at R149 for 1 GB.

Called the cancellations now and took out R349 contract, 40GB/150min/100sms

I hear you. Spent a week outside MTN reception so bought a Vodacom sim to stay connected. Created a Hotspot for my wife's phone and my iPad. Didn't YouTube or update apps or anything major at all - only a bit of streaming music and occasional social media and browsing. Yet we still had to buy 4GB at Vodacom prices!

Made me realise how much I got used to just having data available and not worrying how much I use.

Datashare is broken on both my BF sims. Can't add new numbers to data share to and existing one's that were set up are not getting shared data?!
