Isn't the 500MB bundle @ R189 cheaper than Vodacom's R249?
MTN has identified the biggest user base using between 200 - 500 MB.

Once again, MTN can't please everyone all the time![]()
That's because that's all that m ost of them can afford
They would do better if they wouldn't try to bull**** their customers. Buy 1Gb get 1Gb free, this only shows it was possible to supply the 1Gb service at roughly half the price. But no, keep on charging a lot for 1Gb in the hope that few users will not use the "free" stuff.Once again, MTN can't please everyone all the time![]()
Brian Seligmann, Data Bearers and Services Manager at MTN, says that the success of the company’s "buy 1GB get 2GB" promotion proved so popular – in excess of 4,000% on some price plans - that they decided to make the 2GB bundles and price plans permanent. This however necessitated the downward adjustment of other prices.
haha true that! That's because that's all that m ost of them can afford
just keep a lookout for special offers from the service providers, u might get even better pricing.
last week we got a E220 modem on MyMeg500 contract special for +-R124pm for one of our traders/fieldsmen, which works out at good rate per meg, if u don't need more than 500Mb.
