MTN coverage dead in Bergbron, northcliff, quellerina, newlands

hi there

just checking.. is anyone else dead on mtn in the above areas? Since the massive wind storm on sunday i'm stuck on no service or one bar with no data coverage.. all calls go to voicemail and smses dont deliver or send...

of course.. the mtn coverage desk tell me the towers are all working fine.. because most normal people would hold on for half an hour to tell them what a great job their towers are doing

I'm in a different area....

call 808 from a different device and sim (borrow someone's mtn phone.
listen to options,
select technical. then another after that, think the 1st option(listen and select one mentioning technical problems)

then ask them to reset your sim on the network. I was told there are problems coz of power outages, so they must reset...

ok will try that... but its not just my phone.. its every mtn phone (and pad etc) in the house.

devices all work fine the moment you drive out the area :/
