Some months ago my MTN was doing fine on 3G and then suddenly changed to Edge. I had to port to VC to get 3G again. No more "Timed Out" stuff.
My wife now wants to chuck her BB against the wall due to the same problem. She will have to port to VC as well now.
This has affected most of Cape Town Deep South. Fish Hoek to Simon's Town. I thought they would have fixed it by now. Sadly MTN has forgotten this area.
