MTN Dual sim???? (1 for phone and 1 for 3G card)

Hi Guys

Sorry if this has been discussed before but here goes:

I have got a contract with MTN and need to get a dual sim card so I can use the second one for data on a 3G card.

So I've been to a MTN store in Centurion, but they say they cannot help me. I phoned 173 and they say I must phone 1555, I phone 1555 and the techie says I must contact my service provider, so I phone MTN customer service and ask who my service provider is and what do you know, it's MTNSP. So I phone 1555 again and another techie tells me the same thing.

So how do I go about getting a second sim card for DATA??????

I did phone 808 but eish......
Just waiting for one of the MTN representatives to help me out....

Just to reiterrate, there are no representatives on this forum at the moment, im not here every single day so im not always able to advise on such things. WRT the dual sim option the sim card would only be obtained by applying for a car phone, they dont provide dual sim applications for data purposes, instead they advise on obtaining a second contract or using primary phone as a modem, i do apologise if you are inconvenienced in any way by this.

I walked in to MTNSP in morningside and walked out in 30 mins with a dual sim. Small fee to pay. no issues.
