My HSDPA reception in Centurion (The Reeds) is absolutely pathetic - 1 Bar on the signal strength indicator and download speeds of between 0.5kpbs and 5kpbs last night. It is so slow sometimes that I even cannot update my antivirus or download e-mail. In fact, the signal disappeared completely last night and I could not access the net. I was still offline this morning.

The coverage map on the MTN site indicates that I should have reasonable HSDPA/3G reception. Any comments from users in the same area?

I have already directed a complaint to 'coveragecomplaints@mtn.co.za' without any response. And my post on hellopeter was met by a technical explanation from Andre (MTN service provider), rather than ownership of the problem.

Can the local MTN representative take this further?
