this is riduculouse! and also I noticed that I never received a text from MTN confirming the transaction was made... only from nedbank. So MTN just F'ed me in the A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

What's ridiculous is that you're making a storm in a teacup. Just find the problem app and fix the data leak.

Switch phone off, load airtime.... hours later check your airtime balance and you will see that not a sent has been used.

Switch on your phone check airtime hours later... guess what... yep your phone used it.

My advice: switch off your phone, find a place with nice calm waters, ducks swimming around etc. RELAX. Maybe even feed said ducks.

Then come back here and read the thread again.

What phone do you have? OS? What apps do you have installed? Connected any email accounts lately?

Load the data bundle while connected to wifi/data connection off and see if it decreases.

the problem is in the screenshot you sent us, but you need to scroll down.

more importantly, stop messing around with small amounts of data like this, you are causing this problem yourself. but a bigger bundle, the value for money is better.

I will bet facebook is the culprit here.
I have had all syncing, updates, and notifications turned off on facebook. I cleared my RAM, locked my phone and put in my pocket and drove home on the bike. when I got home, Facebook had used 5mb. (I was 100% sure everything was set to not connect...)

Alriiiiight everybody.... issue was resolved. the problem was with Nedbank. So finally after getting through to MTN CS, they informed me about a email sent by nedbank that something went wrong. so after the second time I got to nedbank and i was helped by a non BEE appointed staff member, they helped me and the money will be transferred to my account.

This entire day was waisted... and my shneck still hurts like hell though. but at least I will get my money back.

Show us the list that shows which apps used the most data.

What does that matter .. 200meg gone and usage for the last couple of days is only 60meg odd :erm:
