I just received a phone call from MTN reminding met that I can upgrade.

Just a pity they can't give me what I want. They send me a e-mail with all the wonderful phones I can choose from.

So what can I do now? If I don't take the N95 what else do I take????

Kingrob. Don't fool around. I had the P990i in my hands last week when I was there.

I might just consider the next best thing if I can't get the N95.;)

Some of the phones I have in mind.

Nokia E61
Nokia E65
Nokia E70
Nokia N93
SE P990i
SE W950
SE W880i
SE M600
HTC S620
HTC Mteor

Any ideas. Or any other advice?

Me, I would take one of the SonyEricssons ... Because, I've never had one before.. and it's always good to try something new.. ;)

I've had the following brands before:
1 Philips
2 Nokia's
1 Siemens
1 Motorola (current)

hmm... only 5 phones ever.. not so bad.. :D

.. My worst experience ever was with the Nokia's .. (both of them) - but maybe thats just me..

Those HTC thingies look very interesting.. but on principle I would never consider one as they tend to have Microsoft software..

Anyway.. for me, each time I get a new phone I like to try a new brand.. my next one will probably be a SE.. :)

But I'm not on contract so not likely I'll ever get on of these "cream of the crop" phones..

I'm getting very good reports from the new firmware update released today for the P990i... can't wait to go home and update my phone!!! :)

The e65 is very nice, but very business focused.
The N95 is also nice but the battery life is shocking and it is a bit bulky and do you need all those features?
I wouldn't touch a Windows Mobile phone with a barge pole.

The p990 seems like a good option. But I've never been a SE fan. Had a few; but I somehow felt limited. Same with Motorola (had quite a few), and LG, and Siemens.
Nokia has been my best pal so far, though. But then again, the p990 is running Symbian, so it must be likeable...
