MTN met with the EFF and had "an insightful session"

MTN has confirmed to MyBroadband that it met with the EFF yesterday as part of "the company's ongoing stakeholder engagements with political parties, business organisations and civil society bodies".

Jacqui O’Sullivan, Executive for Corporate Affairs at MTN SA, said it was an insightful session with a strong focus on the economy.

“Listen guys, when you took away free Twitter, you messed up our election strategy. Bring it back or we'll loot your stores.”

“Okay, we'll bring it back, but you have to declare the Nigerian government counter-revolutionary imperialists”

“Done, fam”

Why would the EFF leaders feel the need to meet with Vodacom if, as they claim, they had nothing to do with the looting of the Vodacom stores?

A 6% party of thugs manages to get an audience with the two largest mobile telco's in the country. Fascinating.

back when the nazis were the same bullies like the EFF, they managed to get an audience with opel and VW and krupp, some of the largest manufacturers in germany out there.
so as big as some of those companies are, they are afraid of a bunch of hooligans like everybody else.

Geez I would struggle to compare the EFF with the NAZI party.

Have a read through this and you will see a lot of similarities between them.

Hate speech, strong-arm tactics, exploitation of unemployed etc.

The EFF are nothing more than a experiment on the part of the ANC to test extremist politics. The ANC is, at its core, communist. The EFF is not the problem, the ANC is.

They are both problems. The ANC has more socialist leanings to me than hardcore communism. They want a state more like Norway or Denmark than North Korea or China. The thing is though that although they like the socialist pipe dreams the high unemployment rate makes it impossible.

having a better functioning capitalist economy where more people are part of is the key to our country's success. If the ANC really wanted to reduce poverty all they really had to do was improve the education sector, lower taxes, but they are only in it for the looting. Governing well is such a non-topic for them.
