Hi :)

Is it just me or has MTN reduced their out of bundle data rate to 50c/MB. I don't have the exact figure, but over the past two days it has been somewhere in that range.

Maybe an error?

No-one seems to be taking me seriously:( Will get the exact figures this evening when I am at home to back up my statements.

Remember MTN has lower OOB rates depending on the bundle you've had within the 30 day period:

350MB = Data Rate out of bundle R 1.50
500MB = Data Rate out of bundle R 1.35
1GB = Data Rate out of bundle R 1.20

and it might even go lower if you got more than 1GB ?

I've never loaded any bundles on this sim. I'm on my choice 75 with free e220.

Heh.. ;)
Well the weekend is less than 30 hours away.. :D so that's good news... (unless you also work weekends :eek: )..

EDIT: Mind you.. while we're on the topic, it would make a nice change if MTN did paint some of their sims orange.. :D

Test 1:
Downloaded 4.70MB @ R3.91 = R0.83/MB

I did enquire a few days ago about the cost of migrating from My Choice 75 to a 100MB data contract at R80.00, but haven't received a response as yet. But the new cost is suspiciously close to that of the 100MB bundle.

When I check my balance it still says I'm on My Choice Top Up :confused:

For prepaid, it is 30 days - strictly, until 23:59:59 one month later less a day. If you activate on 10th April, it dies at the last minute of 9th May.

But you said mtn active, which means contract. I assume it's the same but I don't know.
