I am not an MTN customer and doubt that I ever will be. The girl child is.
Okay - I thought that RIM were changing the internet access and BBM thing with the Blackberry 10. Did this mean that all netwroks in the world moved over to charging for data on the day the Blackberry 10 came out, or only for data used with the Blackberry 10?
Anyhow - the girl child went to the MTN service centre on Rivonia Road on Saturday and did some deal where she buys data. The persopn helping her gave her options starting from R10 but I think she settled on some deal where she got about 119MB of data - probably for the same R60 amount that Blackberry users were charged for the 'free' internet access.
Sunday morning and she has no internet access so we went back to the same service centre and sat around waiting for the bizarre ticketing system to call us up. The service consultant tells her that she needs 200MB in order for it to work.
Does anyone know what the actual story is because the people who work at MTN don't seem to know?
