MTN Raising Contract prices - climbing on bandwagon?

Didn't see this posted already, but may have missed it.
Just got an SMS saying "Kindly note that MTN has updated pricing on contract packages effective from 13 May 2015"

Then they tell you to go look though that mess of a website to try and dig out what the actual pricing will be. Never had the patience to actually sort out how their pile of dung website actually works...so can't access a nice neat list of pricing right now. But I suspect they have climbed on the Vodacom bandwagon after letting them test the waters, and are now raising prices on contracts already signed for?

If so...I will be glad to cancel my contract and post over to one of the other rip off providers, just on principle.

Can anyone confirm?

Ya well, the idea would be to boycott and starve these guys but that will never happen because people can't live without their precious cellphones constantly stuck to their ear, texting or checking the latest Tweet !!

So they can charge as much as they want and you're not gonna be able to do a damn thing about it !

How do I figure out if I will be affected by updated pricing? I am on the discontinued 'MTN Uncapped Lite' package.
