Hey MTN Data Dude
I need your assistance, please, because coveragecomplaints@mtn.co.za appear to be sticking to the philosophy that 'ignorance is bliss'.
I received an e-mail about six months ago from Pravina at the above mentioned address. She stated "Constantia, Bergvliet should have coverage By Feb 2007."
Noting that my datacard has failed to receive a 3G signal, I decided to follow up on this a few days ago and got the prompt message:
------------------------
We do not have a specific date for the 3G roll out.
Regards.
Mr. Linda Dlamini
Network Quality and Coverage Helpdesk
------------------------
I sent back a message saying that I needed a more definite answer. Two full days later, no response.
Please would you be kind enough to obtain information on when Meadowridge/Bergvliet/Constantia in the Western Cape will get 3G coverage.
Also, from a marketing perspective, I wonder why you would want to include the word "complaints" in an official e-mail address... bit of a negative overtone don't you think. coverageenquiries, coverageinfo, coveragequestions, etc. should suffice. Just a thought, if MTN doesn't even respond to complaints, what does that say about the teleCOMMUNICATIONS company?
Otherwise MTNDD, I think you're awesome. If anyone can obtain the info, you can!
