MTN has switched on the first portion of a massive solar power system at its 14th Avenue head office in Fairlands, Johannesburg.

MTN initiated the first phase of its solar renewable energy project in 2023.

Every panrl that goes up, reduces the amount of electricity that Eskom needs to supply. It also reduces the possible amount of energy, that they can sell.

Eventually Eskom will not be able to supply electricity at a marketable price, and will disappear into the sunset, never to be seen or heard of again.
