Big announcement about DStv Stream

MultiChoice has announced several enhancements to its DStv Stream platform, including better Watch from Start functionality and Cloud PVR Recordings, which it will introduce this month.

With the Cloud PVR Recording feature, viewers can record live shows, which will be available to watch or re-watch within 30 days.

An actual extra stream would be nice (not mobile only) - especially for ppl with more than one tv is the house.
Ja, what happened to that thing of multiple streams from the same IP would be allowed?
Hardly feels fair that a house can be set up to have each room with it's own connection when using the dish n decoder.

You had to pay for 'extra view' when setting up multiple decoders in your house.

Called Home Base.

It's still in all the streaming apps (mobile, Smart TV, etc.) but DSTV is quiet about it.

Methinx the calendar in their War Room needs to be changed, coz the only explanation is that it says 11 November 2014

Not really good at all. For those who don't know, this upgrade caused a near collapse.

1. Browser streaming still not working at all for many
2. Watch-from-start when used still causes an "extra stream(s) in use" false error for many

3. My external recorder can keep content for years, and our satellite decoders' PVR service too, TwistedChoice, so what BS is this then??
