MultiChoice cracking down on pirate streaming in South Africa

That bug affects CBS Reality quite often. Sometimes there is no audio at all and sometimes it just freezes.

Another long term bug is the subtitles on Nat Geo. It's so slow that half the text goes missing. I have a deaf relative that needs subtitles.

But I'm paying for these and DSTV just ignores the problems.
There's permanent subtitles on some kids channels too. Nick JR & Disney JR

Thanks, but being elderly, we don't watch the kid's stuff. There are permanent subtitles in English on Kyknet too. Soon we'll have sign language taking up a quarter of the screen too.

Is this site a subsidiary of Multichoice or does Multichoice pay mybb to keep publishing the same stories regarding piracy every few days. I don't care for iptv or dstv. Just want decent tech news

MyBB & @Jan like to plagiarise their own articles, as it brings in the clicks and thus appease the advertising gods.

Unfortunately this- and I work alongside one of their former employees. That code is a schitshow. The bug they gained was the audio one, they have tried to fix it for years to no avail.

It affects quite a few of the "British links farm" channels (actually in Spain).

Its original or similar bug started on the History channel and was worked on around 2004/5. They actually had to bring in two French experts who worked on it for over a year I think, eventually found the prob and fixed it.
(They may have been concentrating on the Head End but not sure I remember that right.)

So if he/she is still in touch with MC staff, can maybe pass this info on - those old documents should give them plenty of clues.

Just waiting for them to sue a granny for what her niece to complete their transformation into the RIAA.
