Been a DSTV Premium customer from day one, which was October 1995. Always paid annually in February

For the past two weeks, my wife and I have been getting 3 phone calls a week from Shabir & Associates "collecting arrears" for Multichoice. They know my name and address, DSTV account number and demand R1219,00 be paid by 9th November into a Standard Bank account or face blacklisting and all the unfortunate associations that go with it

I spoke to DSTV accounts, they will neither confirm nor deny that they engage this company to collect, or else say they don't know.

Yesterday my wife had a call from a particularly aggressive lady from the number 011-0129961 telling her it was her last chance to make a payment. She was extremely upset at this threatening phone call. Yet when I call this number, it won't connect

Anyone know what is going on? Polite replies please...
