MultiChoice ramping up fight against DStv piracy

Bad news for DStv pirates

MultiChoice is ramping up its fight against pirate streaming services in 2025, following a year in which it had already intensified its battle against the crime.

The company recently told MyBroadband it would increase its efforts to combat piracy, with the support of law enforcement, to apprehend and hold accountable those involved in these unlawful acts.
We don't care what Irdeto's dumb management has to say. They're a consumer milking company and should die along with their holding company.

No idea, but as there is a fair number of people, prepared to pay, for DSTV - it computes, that there will be people who would pirate it.
 
Maybe Frikkie must be invited to the Jo'burg Forumite meet on the 31st, then he can explain to us all in person (and a guest expert) how pirating works.

We need to be some insite, how this purported "piracy" is achieved, so we can understand the long, tiresome, ardourous journey, of travel alonv the pirate high-way, that eventually leads to the high-seas
