DStv Stream a winner

DStv Stream has maintained its positive momentum and recorded a 71% year-on-year increase in revenue, MultiChoice reported in its recent half-year results.

The pay-TV broadcaster reported that its combined DStv Stream and Extra Stream subscribers base declined 2% compared to last year, but that this was from an elevated base in on the back of the Rugby World Cup.

Since I signed up for DSTV stream I have been having problem after problem with their streaming platform. Its the most half baked platform on TV. Currently my package is not showing all the available channels and I dread asking dstv for assistance.Their help staff is beyond incompetent and unskilled. Its been a very bitter and hateful relationship with DSTV stream since I signed up.I would not recommend this platform to anyone. Reminds me of the ANC government.

I struggle with the dstv stream on Apple TV. The experience is truly not good. Live games are worse.
I wish they could fix it as it’s the “only” option for sport

Anyway, DStv & co. won't listen. Direct reports to management of poor streaming for years didn't help.

One of our Forumites even helped them work out a serious stability problem years back, which they tried, and it worked, and months later they overrode it again! Why? We think it was a business-political decision... customers must take the back seat.

Stupid

@Jan you obviously had to speak to a human to get this info ... why didn't you give him link(s) to the complaints on this here forum so he can register as a rep and get these complaints sorted and the customers onto the happy side of the fence .... BUT NO :X3:

Even as a joke don't blame Jan, it's Multichoice, they don't give a fark.

Not a joke, I truly want to know why a few reps from that company don't give us answers ... even stupid answer like "the guy that's bringing the traffic dept new license printer is also coming to fix our app" ... just something :p

Its quite a thing bru, these corporate types are truly in their own universe. It's always an us versus them thing.
They see the customers as being in a lower caste, and that means, by default they don't give a fark as you said.
That also means they're equally tone deaf to customer wants and needs.
Money does that to greedy CEOs and their meerkatte
