Multiple connections

I was thinking (dangerous, I know :). With ADSL you can dial up multiple times using the same account. So if you have two adsl lines, you can use one account on both lines at the same time.

Can this be done with Sentech? With all this talk of the way Sentech distributes bandwidth (i.e. bw sharing instead of contention), this might be a nice way to increase your available bandwidth. Use two modems (or more). I'm not sure if it will be possible to bind/bridge (?) two Sentech connections, but at least if you have two connections going you can do your downloads on the one and browsing/mail on the other.

Any ideas on this?

ST doesn't allow multiple logons with the same user id. One could be you, one could be a "hijacker".

AFAIK Sentech's radius is quite picky and SHOULD be able to stop muliple logins.

it was allowed at one stage and can be once again the main reason for not doing this is to force people to buy there over priced modems ...
once things settle down im sure it could be allowed and in some cases makes good sence rather have 2 256k links than a 512k link as you will be able to do
BW/Routing ... with it
