Murder Rate in Canada Highest in a Decade.

Bad news.

With a population closing in on 40 million, the murder rate is now the highest it has been in a decade.

There was 658 homocides in 2005. There was dramatic increase of 34 more than the year before.:eek:

If there's a bright spot it's that many of these murders are being solved by police - the report found that 85 per cent of homicide cases in this country since 1961 have been cleared.

Seriously Iam this is a bit like going into a room full of blind people and complaining about your contacts being scratchy.

Id still rather live here than in ****ing, dull boring, vanilla Canada.

So me posting a news item that shows the crime rate in Canada is not relevant to the crime rate in SA? Do you not think that a country like SA deserves a low crime rate?

Also explain to me how the divorce between Britney Spears and Fedeline is relevant?

you're a lot closer to zero than us and besides, I heard it's too cold in canada for people to go around shooting each other. it's apparently because it's too much effort to take those thick gloves off, load a gun, aim, say "Ay", pull a trigger, then put the gloves back on. That and the time taken is enough warning for the dude to get away.

Being Canadian must be similar to being dead. Most Canadians I have met lack spontaneity and emotion. This must play a role in their low homicide rate.

Being South African must also be similar to being dead. At least the walking dead. It won't be long before you are dead from the crime there.

Most South Africans are spontaneous and emotional. This must also play a part in the high homocide rate.

I am on cable. We can choose between ADSL or Cable.

My cable company just intoduced this:

25 Mb download speed
1 Mb upload speed
150 GB/month data transfer
10 personal email accounts

Only about R650.00 per month. (Rands per month)

It's called Nitro.

What do you think? Should I get it?

Then I could be posting here at the speed of light.

Yep, we live, we die, with the emphasis on 'live'.

See, the problem with many Canadians is that they are very empty people. They are obsessed with their own culture which is driven by consumerism and totally devoid of substance.

Canadians spend more time obsessing about their material possessions than any other people. This is a fact - google it.
