Musk announces Twitter will remove "block" feature

Now he's just flexing on us.

I think there's conflation between an app's owners being able to block users and app's users being able to block each other.
Do you think that requirement is only for app owners to be able to block?

If it isnt then I imagine some terms will be updated for less ambiguity soon.

That sucks. I was seeing how many Promoted Posts or Advertisers I can block.

That's not fair Uncle Musk!

/Mark, punch him!

That would be my interpretation.

Most likely.
No, the wording is clear. The app must have the ability...
Not the platform.
I would respectfully disagree. In the context of the clause, regular users don't have the ability to filter objectionable content from being posted either.

The BBC interprets it as a big problem for users who prefer not to deal with objectionable posts:
I'd guess that most blocking is less related to legitimate abuse/harassment. It's an interesting conflict especially for Musk and his desire for freedom of speech.

It's more than that:
The block button is an established tool for those who feel attacked, bullied or simply want to shut out an account with whom they have a strong disagreement (and X is full of those).
