WTF. I'm not sure Twitter will survive this. Might limp along for a while I guess.

$20 a month for subscription service to be verified :ROFL::ROFL:

Guess he needs the money to support his other scams.

I always said solar, electric cars anything 'green' was a scam and rather a plan to collapse the West and shift world powers.

I suspect it will.

He is working toward NYC identification to ensure liability for unlawful tweets.
I do wonder.
1) People post bad stuff... get prosecuted... Twitter dies (nobody wants to end up in jail for their tweets)
2) People stop posting to avoid prosecution...
3)People just post Memes and funnies. World becomes a better place... hahahah

This is the proper test for the legal system. It is not twitter's role to regulate peoples perceptions and convictions. It is the law that should be in effect, not domineering leftwing assholes. The law system is more sophisticated and more freedom of speech will effectively be at play. Truly unacceptable and unlawful will be charged, if the userbase consists of such idiots then twitter will die, yes, but I doubt this will be the outcome. People will be driven to more responsible and reflective Tweeting

I do agree 110%.

I do want to see how the stats/usage will be if people are held accountable. I think the usage numbers will shrink....

We will have to wait and see. Sometimes when an underlying principle changes the greater outcome is different than what seemed to be logical and expected in the original milieu.

Well blow me over with a feather - you spend $44 billion on something and you want to be in control?

Or save the world from by ensuring it does not stay in the wrong hands. Twitter was a massive tool in US election rigging in 2020.
