Musk Proposes to Buy Twitter for Original Price of $54.20 a Share

Smart sales move here. Present consumption information commodity via subscription as activism for insert topic here (freedom of speech in this case) then consumer who would not consume subscription now does so. Smart sales+marketing move. Monetising ideological agency. Whether it is Musk or his tweet team who wrote that tweet that is really excellent template for sales for certain market segments:

lol he’s not doing that for revenue. He’s doing it to promote a narrative which makes morons think that social media platforms are all anti free speech except for x but the result has been it’s now mostly a grift hub of grievance specialists trying to farm clicks. Did the same for Taibbi etc until that didn’t work out.

El Ron Reinventing charging fanboys pay for protective coatings on their cars

Posting on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, a user named Raxar risked the wrath of the Tesla faithful—already exercised by the Cybertruck's numerous alleged design flaws—by stating that when they collected the $61,000 truck, "the advisor specifically mentioned the Cybertrucks develop orange rust marks in the rain."

The Cybertruck does not ship with clear coat, that outermost layer of transparent paint that comes as standard on almost every new motor vehicle on the planet. Instead, each Cybertruck owner has the option to purchase a $5,000 urethane-based film to "wrap your Cybertruck in our premium satin clear paint films. Only available through Tesla."

Hehe people don’t wanna clean the surface because it leaves marks/streaking so it’s inevitable that surface contaminants will cling to it and rust/breakdown. Not the best choice of material without some form of treatment imho.

If only we had top scientists and engineers who had researching metals and combinations of surface treatments to prevent discolouring and corrosion for the last 100 or so years. Alas our ubermensch hero had to be the first person embarking down this road and building "cars" out of the newfangled "stain less steel"

also its not the consensus nor is it the assertion supported by data. On the other hand it dowes play into his weird, white "race breeding" fetish
