Help the good folks of MyBB out here, Ponderer... Have y'all agreed on which public figures the rest of us can make fun of, and which public figures are off-limits and must be defended at all costs?

I presume the at-all-costs list starts:

1. Elon Musk

... but I'm happy to wait for confirmation from you.

So, clearly stating parody account isn't "without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended" ?
I didn't even see it. Probably one part of the issue.
But let's take it at face value.

Yes, that not right.

I think its just interpretation. Elon probably means any name must include parody as part of the name and not just profile.

That's a man. Griffin Newman.
How long has his account been a parody account? Because non-parody accounts suddenly becoming parody accounts because of the latest trend is also against the rules. That's not how parody works.

I have no idea who this guy is though.

I rescind my previous comment.

This rule existed prior to the Musk takeover.

@wbot the rules.

And yet there are a myriad of examples but I'll name two - Amazon & Tesla

It's there in black and white out of Jack's own mouth. I am pretty inclined to believe the person who ran the company for years (and my own experience) over some random dude on the internet.
