Kuduclub is only available to non-South Africans, it's for ex-South African's that have moved abroad.

Is the new DSTV Broadband offering hosted locally??

As the article says, still too expensive for us locally. DSTV can't even "think" of asking a monthly subscription knowing it will cost us more to just download a single episode than whatever subscription fees they want to add on top.

I mean, 250MB for an episode of Carte Blanch ...ISPs will probably cut us off and say we are "abusing their bandwidth" .

According to Telkom Media, it is run as a completely separate business from Telkom, and Multichoice said that they are interested to see if they will get the same access as Telkom Media to the ADSL network for IPTV offerings if they ask for it.

ROFLMAO.

telscum giving anyone but themselves anything?

Not even legal action can make telscum give anybody access to their ADSL network. The money they make by breaking the law can cover their legal costs forever.

Not to mention the few millions Rands to line a select few pockets and the problem goes away.

lol, so we can effectively watch 4 shows a month with the 1 Gb cap or 12 shows a month with the 3 Gb cap???

How exactly is this supposed to be "broadband"?

Does the definition of broadband stretch to a "rich" and "diverse" online content experience?

How can they expect this to take off with such lousy caps in place?

I think the phrase you're looking for is expatriated South Africans.

Ditto, Where do I get the code? I was so happy when I saw that I will be getting more value for the 400 odd I pay for subscription, but now how do I Register without a trail/employee code?!?

Thank you for contacting DStv Broadband Support!

An invitation with a trial code has been send to a selected group of MWeb Broadband Subscribers with the DStv Premium package. This is purely from an administrative point of view that the trial is only for this group.

We are planning to launch the DStv Broadband website in October to the public.
