Is anyone able to tell me if torrents indeed do use the same port and if so is this legal? Also please recommend me a new isp.

Thanks

We posted 100 times to avoid MWEB on forum.
Mweb is full of $hIt. Just switch ISP and you will lose argument against those idiots.
Save yourself the stress and move to another ISP.

I see complaints of a lot of providers so wheres the best place to go?

their tech specialist that called me
Well he is talking crap. You can set torrent software to use any port though the default is 6881-6889. Facebook via a web browser will use port 443 as it uses HTTPS. Don't know what the app uses.

I told them on many occasions that its ridiculous, which ISP would you recommend switching to?

Can't recommend any but I'd look at Webafrica, Crystalweb and Axxess. Don't even think of Afrihost. /spits

I am with them. Be aware to cancel requires a calendar month notice, same as Mweb. I hate that. But I am generally happy with them.

Yes, told mweb they can take their 30 days and stick it. I have been having latency issues for 5 months with them.
