MWEB will increase its fibre pricing for certain customers regardless of when they signed up to their package, and has explained that it is within its rights to do this.

I was 6 months with Mweb year years back and will never use there services ever also if they pay me too.

They so busy defending their right to do something, they forgot to ask if they should. They could have weighted the increase depending on when people signed up, or created some threshold before which the increase was void. They're apparently a technology company unable to deploy sufficiently interesting billing technologies that allow them to continue to profit whilst also being warmer. This cold & clinical tone from them isn't great.

These people must approach the NCC, we need a court to rule on the exact meaning of "from time to time" as according to the CPA, next, I'll grab a loaf of bread for R15, walk to the till, charged R18 and be told that the prices are amended from time to time.
