They also seem to have left the definition of what a landline is in the 90's. Now if it was 5G it would have been another story.

Hold on, MWeb, aren't they part of the same group as Monochoice? The people who are panicking about streaming providers?
No they were bought by IS in 2016 and 2017. Also they were originally apart of Naspers which Multichoice has no affiliation with since March 2019.

Pricing of fibre hasn't gone down like it should've, in fact my 20meg up and down has gone up by R100 since I only got it a year ago. With Vumatel excuses, by now we should be paying R700 for 50/50 and R900 for 100/100 instead it just goes up and up.
A buddy got fibre installed in 2015 by some provider who was bought by Cell C, at the time he was paying R600pm for 100/10, now he's paying R750 for 100/100, it's the cheapest 100/100 I've seen.

yeh well MWeb, no Fibre in my area still. At least Telkom still lets me have an ADSL connection

And in Bulgaria 50 Down 50 Up is R76 p/m. 1GB mobile data is R9. Go figure.
