Mweb throttling gaming in peak times...

That is my ping right now in world of warcraft. Only starts around 8pm at night and goes on until around 22:30pm

During any other time ping is wonderfull 170ms.

1GB line complained multiple times and just get told some random bs story.

What ISP dont throttle gaming ports?

You are an unwitting participant in an experiment to see how much they can throttle until you reach breaking point. Then they will fix it and you will be singing their praises all ovet Mybb, X, Facebook, hellopetrus et al.

This is probably congestion somewhere upstream. Throttling isn't a thing anymore except for like telkom on fibre in general.

Just use Exitlag, Mudfish or Warp

Mweb and by extension WebAfrica should be avoided at all costs. It doesn't matter how cheap they are. Switch to any other ISP (Afrihost is a good alternative)

Im having the exact same issue now for the past 2 weeks. Prior to that no issues since the big cable break earlier this year

How is Mweb even around. Some clients still use them, and honestly I would rather go for multiple prostrate exams than use/ recommend them to anyone.
