we are very far from fully understanding how everything works - if we were anywhere near there would be no mental diseases.

There will never be a era of no illness. Thats evolution and population dynamics. The only time there will be no illness is when there is no life.

Yes we are very far from understanding the brain that is true however its not like science doesnt know much about it. Science knows a lot about the brain just not its intricate details. The problem is delivering drugs to the brain as the brain is isolated its extremely difficult to deliver drugs to it. For example only 5 to 10% of a dose of morphine actually enters the brain the body doesnt like foreign unrecognised things going into the CNS

lol and thanks for the luck im aware its no easy task >.<

Are there notably differences in brain scans between normal people, people with depression and those on medication?

You guys are bordering on being sanctimonious . **** happens it doesn't necessarily mean it is someone in the family's fault.

Bordering on sanctimonious? I think they're deep sea diving in the stuff, wallowing in its feigned superiority and watching it ooze back onto the minions they surround themselves with.

yes. Google functional MRI if you want to see the evidence for yourself
